Preface#
In the days without updates, I've been slacking off and indulging in idleness~
I received a new backlink this week! While I'm happy about it, it also made me realize that I haven't updated my blog for a long time, which makes me feel guilty.
In the "About" section of my friend To the Moon River's blog, I read that "a static blog is a place where you can say everything you want." It's so true. A blog is a small part of my spiritual world in the vast internet. I don't want people in real life to know about its existence, but I would be happy if cyber people could get to know the real me. Maybe it's because the real me in real life is not authentic, or maybe I can't express my true self, and it feels very oppressive.
Enjoying the Blossoming Spring#
After the pandemic restrictions were lifted, the previously closed West Gate finally opened. The bad news is that my wallet can't handle it, and my weight keeps increasing.
Every night, around ten o'clock, when I'm about to turn the corner and head back to the dormitory, I see the entrance of the West Gate straight ahead. So I excitedly run out and McDonald's and Lawson have become my regular hangouts.
Ding ding, Lawson's rice balls, I can't resist them.
There are too many pictures of McDonald's, so I won't include them, but "how did you know I ordered the grilled chicken roll?" McDonald's has become my midnight canteen. Yesterday, I even dragged my senior brother to eat there. I hope the food can comfort his tired body~
I met a new friend this week and we happily made plans to have meals together. It's fun to go out alone! I'm quite happy at the thought of taking the subway with headphones on, holding a Kindle, and carrying a shoulder bag! But it seems like the weather is gloomy and rainy, which is a bit of a downside.
Organizing My Mood#
The campus is full of pink blossoms in the warm spring! The sunshine is also particularly good! Here's an overexposed photo.
I imagined strolling around the campus in spring, but in reality, it's full of construction trucks. Shushu, you disappoint me.
Last week, it was nice to wear a hoodie and feel the breeze while going out. But this week, the temperature dropped by 11°C, and the wind made me shiver all over.
Maybe I'll be wearing short sleeves again next week. Yes, this is spring in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai.
After finishing my last exam, I spent the next day lying in bed. After getting up a little after nine, I folded the bed and aired out all the blankets, giving them a touch of sunshine. I love the smell of sunshine when I lie in bed at noon. Seeing the neatly made bed, my mood improved a lot.
Every once in a while, I tidy up my desk or fold my clothes to indirectly tidy up my mood. It has become a habit.
Summary of the Second Semester#
I didn't study well in my classes, yes, I didn't study well.
In my English class, I worked hard on the placement test and even used Google Translate for the essay. I got placed in Class A, but then I was harshly taught a lesson in the exams. Keso. But the teacher is really nice. He teaches academic writing in class and explains the meaning of each part's framework. The teacher said, "I hope you can use all of this in your own papers. I believe some of you have already started working on your papers. If you submit your paper this semester, you can ask me for extra credit." I scratched my head when I heard that...
There's nothing much to say about the other classes, just pre, pre, pre, and more pre. Scratching my head.
At the end of February, I was preparing for presentations and didn't read any other books. So my Kindle has been collecting dust. It's annoying. I must pick it up again.
I haven't watched any movies or TV shows either. It seems like there's no spiritual food left.
Let me think about what podcasts I've listened to:
- Of course, there's a lot of gossip. What shocked me for a long time was that when Fei Jie was about to graduate from college, he chose to study abroad just to follow Hui Zi. They didn't have any personal or relationship conflicts due to the different directions they chose. Besides, their emotional experiences could be made into a TV drama... Beautiful campus love. I'm currently in school, but it doesn't feel like I'm in school anymore.
